Colorado Hunt 2011
So Kyle along with his buddies Scott and Reed headed out for a week of hunting in Colorado after big bucks. They froze their little hinneys off but had a great time and both Scott and Kyle came home with awesome bucks (Reed didn't have a tag but went along to help scout and help carry out meat). Scott's buck is pictured below, a very nice 4 x 5.

Kyle's great buck. It is one of his bigger bucks with a lot more character with 3 in-line cheaters and 29 inches wide.
The hike out. Kyle got his on the last evening of the hunt so I'm so glad that they both were able to get one and to be able to spend time with some great friends.
Leaves, Leaves, Leaves
One afternoon we went to Grandpa and Grandma Paxman's and helped rake up the leaves but before we could dispose of them we had to make a big pile to jump in. Everyone pitched in and we made a huge pile. I don't know how long we played in this massive pile of leaves but it sure was a lot of fun!

And the jumping begins. I took way too many pictures and included a lot of them because I just couldn't decide which ones I wanted. The "kids" are always so good to play and include Taytum.
The next 3 photos, are probably my favorite 'Taytum' faces in the whole wide world. I never tire of seeing her extremely happy!!
She didn't care to be covered completely like the others but she had no problem covering them up and stepping all over them (sorry)!
ThanksgivingThis year we went to my sisters house in Venice. I didn't capture many pictures of the yummy food but it was great and it's always fun to spend some time with my parents and sisters. The pictures below are of Grandpa with all the kiddos playing Ring around the Rosies on the tramp. He did this for quite a long time. He's a real trooper.

Ashes, Ashes we all fall down!
I asked her how the pie was and to say hi to the camera and this is the look I got. She got to stay and play with her cousins while we took off to St. George and she had a great time.
5th Anniversary getaway. We decided to celebrate our anniversary a week later to take advantage of the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. After Thanksgiving at my sisters, we left Taytum there and headed to St.George. It was nice to just get away. Since Kyle's dad grew up in Washington, he took me to see some of the places he would go to as a kid. We saw his grandma's house and visited the cemetery where many of our relatives our buried. Oh and he got me the beautiful roses shown below.
We went to the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum and they had every land animal imaginable. We thought it was funny that in one of the displays about taxidermy work they had this sign above this "stuffed" animal. It made us chuckle. 
5 Glorious years.
I am soooooo lucky to have married my best friend! I know that know matter what happens, I can count on him for anything. I love you babe! Forever and Ever!
