For the past 3 years, we have gotten together with our good friend Melynda to eat dinner and carve pumpkins. Melynda made us some yummy broccoli cheese soup.
Since this was Taytum's first year, she got to join in for the festivities though she only made it thru dinner before she started to get sleepy so I had to hurry and get a few pictures with her first pumpkin which you will see below.
This picture, she is wondering what the heck this big orange thing is.

We got a little smile out of her. Happy Halloween Tayters.
Here we are with our pumpkins. Each year, Kyle and I seem to pick the hardest pattern that takes us forever. Every year, Melynda has to wait for us to finish. She is so fast. She even did an intermediate pattern this year as opposed to her normal beginner pattern. Good job M. I think all of our pumpkins turned out awesome.
Melynda is great at multi-tasking. Pumpkin carving and babysitting is a cinch.
Transferring the pattern.
Say cheese!
Misty's Mummy pumpkin
Kyle's scarecrow pumpkin
Melynda's "Beware" pumpkin
We've decided that we should all become professional pumpkin carvers.
