The first signs of Spring.
Though it was still cold, we just had to get out and run around. We got the bubbles out and enjoyed a early spring like day.
Kylee just hanging out in her stroller.
We even got the chalk out and made a few self portraits.
Cutie patuties.
Disney on Ice!
What a day, especially when you have a little girl who loves princesses. She loved every minute of it and it was fun to just hang out together. She had to dress the part and was Cinderella for the day.
We went with Grandma and Grandpa Pike, Angela, Emree and her friend.
She makes such a pretty Cinderella.
They had a lego carriage for picture purposes.
Grandma and Grandpa has been to the Disney on Ice production a few times with each of the granddaughters and have let them choose a souvenir. Taytum got hers today and chose this Ariel doll.
Checking out the ice up close before the show was to start.
She didn't move a muscle throughout the whole program unless it was to put popcorn in her mouth.
They put on the story of Cinderella,Tiana and Repunzel.
I did fancy hair for this occasion.
Rapunzel.
In the end, all the princesses and princes came out.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a wonderful day.
St. Patricks Day
We woke up to green pancakes and Leonard, our leprechaun, turned our milk green.
Leonard also left behind his favorite cereal, a note, and a few gold coins.
The green outfil she chose for the day.
Kylee sporting the green also.
We finished off the day with an all green dinner: green fettuccine, green salad, pistachio pudding, and green cupcakes.
EASTER
A few days before the big day we colored eggs. Always so much fun with the little ones.
Taytum dipping hers in a color.
Kylee didn't do much dipping but she played with one egg while we worked.
We used a few crayons too.
We then went to Morgan for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the ball park. Waiting anxiously for it to begin.
Daddy and Kylee hanging out together.
And their off.........
It literally lasts less than a minute but Taytum made out pretty good and even found a numbered egg which we will turn in for a basket of goodies.
A cute family.
The basket she received with tons more candy in it.
We went to another hunt at the assisted living home. Taytum and I waiting for it to begin.
Kylee decided she just couldn't watch anymore.
We then were off to the Pikes. Katie and Jeremy always throw/roll eggs down the hill so we all decided to give it a try. Here's everyone ready to start throwing.
They liked seeing them roll and break as they went down the hill.
Kylee enjoyed throwing them as well.
