December

O Christmas Tree
All ready to go get our Christmas tree.  We debated whether to get one this year because we are in the process of selling our home but for Taytum's sake we knew we needed on so we did.
Kylee is patiently waiting too even with her bow over her face.
That's much better, she's excited to just be going somewhere.
 Oh the excitement of Christmas.
Taytum got the honors of putting the star in place.
Kylee watched and made sure we did it right.
He just loves his picture taken during such events.
Taytum was very helpful in decorating the tree this year, when we were done you could tell where she put the majority of her ornaments for they were all clustered together in the same spot.
The finished product.  I love real Christmas trees, they smell so good though they do leave needles everywhere!!
 Family Christmas Parties 2012
We went to my parents and had our annual party complete with the reading of the birth of Christ.
My parents with the some of the grand kids.  This year it was only Angela and I since Katie didn't want to bring her newborn and Brian, obviously who lives out east.
Kylee being the youngest, got to go first.
She has no ideas what she is supposed to do but she loved all of the attention.
 She loved her teddy.
 Cooper.
Taytum was next in line and she dove right into her presents.
Grandma and Grandpa sure spoil them, her favorite thing was the 7 mini princess's she received.
 Emree
Emree and family gave Taytum these out grown princess dress ups.  She loves them!
I have some pretty great parents.
Later we went to the court house to see Santa.  Taytum was not shy at all to sit on Santa's lap and told him that she wanted princess's and a cat.
Even Kylee sat on his lap without screaming.
After Santa we got to go on the traditional hay ride.
 Another happy baby picture.
After my mom's party we headed to Grandma Mac's.  I didn't take many pictures here but I did snap this way cute picture of my girls with their great Grandma Mac.  Grandma has had a rough year and is now diagnosed with terminal cancer.  So far she is doing great and getting around pretty good.
The next day we were off to the Paxman Christmas party.  Here is Brooke with Kylee.
 Aunt NeVon and Lyndee.
My little Santa Baby.  Grandma Mac gave this to her so she had to wear it to this party.
 Uncle Kraig and kylee bug.
"The Kids".  These gals will always be known as "the kids" to Taytum.
Taytum just chilling on the couch.
 Ella
After a yummy dinner we played a few Christmas games.  We played a great game of pictionary.  Here Jack and Jenny are up drawing.
Ryan, Katie and their newest one, Brody.
Dylan with Kylee.  He loves to play with the girls.
Taytum and I had a turn.  She is drawing a scarf.
Lyndee was great and played with the little ones all night long.
 Kyle's Sibling

 What a cute family.
All the Paxman grand kids and great grand kids.

 Our Family Christmas
It all started Christmas Eve with some sugar cookies to give to Santa.  I rolled out the dough and Taytum did all the shapes.  Kylee watched and sucked on some cookie cutters.
 She loved this.
The finished product.  If you look real close you can see which one Taytum frosted and sprinkled.
Traditional Christmas Eve Pajama/Book presents.  I love how excited Taytum is.
 Christmas Morning.
Taytum woke up around 7:30 and came right into our room.  I asked her if Santa had come and she went running to look.  We never heard her say whether he did or not but she was down by the tree just looking all around.
Let the giving begin.  Santa once again spoiled all of us.
 Kylee is thrilled as well.
 Opening our stockings.
Taytum - happy as can be.
 Isn't she absolutely adorable.
Kylee's favorite part was the wrapping paper.
Taytum opening her new Belle princess barbie, she also got the beast and his head pops off to reveal the prince underneath.
 More and more presents.
 I think Kylee loves Christmas.
Tatyum's stuff.  All of this ought to keep her busy for awhile.
 Kylee's  stuff.
Combing her new babie's hair.  She is always combing my hair so when I saw this Baby Alive doll for cheap I just had to get it.  Plus it's curly blonde hair reminded me so much of Taytum.
I had been asking Kyle for a bike for some time now and when he went out to the garage to get my present I really thought that it was going to be my bike so imagine my surprise when he came back in with my buck I had gotten some years previously.  He did the taxidermy work and finished it for me.  I now officially have a spot on the wall for something I have killed.
Imagine my further surprise when he also brought in that bike I had been asking for.  Now if only it could get warmer so I can take it out for a spin. Our favorite gift this year was becoming the proud owners of some dirt in Elk Ridge (pictures to come) where our future (hopefully near future) home will be built.  All we got to do now is get our current home sold and we can start building.
 New Year's Eve
For New Year's Eve this year, our good friends Ben and Brenae came for some food and games.  We played Pandemic and Hoopla til 1 a.m.  It was lot's of fun and we need to have more game nights.
Taytum even surprised us and stayed up until midnight.  I figured I would let her stay up as long as she was being good and not tired and whiny and she made it to midnight.  Se we got a cute New Year's Kiss.  I look forward to a new year.  Happy 2013!
 Random December Pictures
Kylee is 5 months old.  Some of her accomplishments this month was that she rolled over for the first time and does it constantly from back to tummy but can't always go from back to tummy.  She's a little chatter box and is always just a talking.  We think she has a daily goal of seeing how often she can kick her socks off and she is very successful at this.  Though she still doesn't care much for food her favorite thus far is squash.  She is growing so fast.
Taytum made this great looking Gingerbread House at Preschool and we displayed it proudly the whole month of December.
I finally got to meet my newest nephew, Tate.  Katie came up with Luke and Tate and their cousin Easton and they hung out at our place while they attended a Temple Wedding Ceremony.  He is so cute and has the same reddish hair Kennedy had.
My parents were also there when Katie came up and Kylee fell asleep on Grandpa in this weird position.  I have never seen her sleep this way so I guess Grandpa has the magic touch.
 Sisters!!
She can be crying one second and the next laughing as this picture proves.  You can see how red her eyebrows are from crying and now she's laughing.  Silly Kylee.
Bath time. Kylee loves bath time and just gets her legs a kicking.  I used to just put her bath on the bathroom counter but she was kicking so hard, the water was going everywhere so now we just put it in the tub and she can kick away.

November

 Kyle's Colorado Buck
Kyle and his friend Scott headed to Colorado again this year and came home with yet another great buck.  He was very unique and still had velvet hanging from his antlers.
While hunting, they also found many, many shed antlers.  That is remarkable to find that many in one day.  We have gone shed hunting many times and we're lucky if we come home with one!
 First Snow of the year
It finally snowed so Taytum and I headed out to play.
 Our awesome snowman!

 Kylee is 4 months!
Kylee is a beautiful blue eyed girl.  She continues to be very smiley and watches her sister in everything she does whenever she is in the room with her.  She is really starting to grasp things in her hand and she puts anything and everything (except food) in her mouth.  She is being a stinker at night and thinks she needs to wake us up once or twice and I can't quite figure out how to get her to sleeping through the night again, as she did at 2 months but then she coos and smiles at you and you can't help but love those chunky cheeks!
First Food
So at 4 months, we decided to giver her first taste of food - rice cereal.  She pulled the typical baby food faces by spitting it right back out.  We tried food all month but she never really cared much for it and would cry every time we tried feeding her so we went back to just milk and we'll try again in a bit.
Trying to figure out what all this new stuff in my mouth is.

This is on a different day but I just love this face!
 Random November Pics
A sleeping Beauty with her thumb in mouth.  She doesn't really suck her thumb but her hands and fingers are always in her mouth.

Big sister helping me eat my breakfast.  Taytum really is a good helper and I love that she is so willing to find me a diaper, wipe or burp
I got a picture of Taytum wearing this yellow outfit that used to be mine so I put it on Kylee.

October

 Pumpkin Carving Time
We had our annual pumpkin carving night with our good friend Melynda.  We look forward to this each and every year.  We always have good food and great company.  Taytum wanted to play in the pumpkin slime this year so we let her go to town.
  Melynda
We always give Kyle a hard time because he takes so long on his pumpkin but he actually worked quite quickly this year and once again had the best looking pumpkin.  Disclaimer:  I had to carve 3 pumpkins to his one so I chose a simpler pattern this year.
Break Time - lets eat donuts!
 Melynda's Pumpkin
 Taytum's Pumpkin
 Misty's Pumpkin
 Kyle's Pumpkin
Once again we had a fabulous night with some great looking pumpkins
We love Melynda and we don't get to see enough of her.
 Halloween 2012
What a busy, fun day.  Taytum wore her costume all day.  Along with her babysitter she came to see the Snow Springs Halloween Parade.  We walked the halls then went through the gym (where all the parents were) and I waved and hugged Tayters and had to keep going.  She did not like that at all and started to cry so I motioned her to come and walk with my class and she even got to attend my class party.
Here she is below sitting with my class watching the other classes parade by.
After a day in Kindergarten, we headed off to Preschool.  The kids were outside playing when I got there to pick her up so these were just a couple of quick shots.
 Playing in Miss Amy's rocks.
Five of the nine preschoolers in Taytum's class.
Isn't she a gorgeous Cinderella.  Taytum really is a princess and she is so much fun, I just love her so much and these holidays are just getting more and more fun because she understands it more and is so excited.
Close-up, she was extra excited to be able to wear make up and sparkles in her hair.
The littlest Paxman was the cutest Kitty in the world.  Her day was a little bit more low key but she enjoyed the stroller ride while we went trick or treating around the neighborhood.
I made her sit in the pumpkin for her photo shoot and she went along with it.  I just love her and can't believe how time is flying.
 Random October Pictures
This is what I see most every school morning.  While Kyle and I are getting ready for work, they are laying on the bed watching cartoons together.
I bought her this cinderella dress (for Halloween) and also a pink tutu thing at this great sale in American Fork.  They are so much more durable and washable and she played in these for a week straight.
 Pretty Ballerina.
Walmart had a thing where kids could come get their picture with Cinderella and since I needed to go there anyway we stopped by and grabbed this shot.
I came down one morning to find Taytum reading Kylee books.  She even had the pages turned out so that Kylee could see the pictures.
She made this horse at preschool and was tromping through the house with it all day.
After they learned about animals and horses in general they got to go ride and feed this pony.  We met there first for the first part of preschool.
Finally her turn.  She did good standing in line waiting for her turn.  As a teacher (and a mom) it makes me happy to see her listening to direction, sharing and waiting turns.

Taytum had recieved these glasses at preschool and on the way home put them on her sister so when I got Kylee from the truck this is what I found.  I thought it was hilarious.
 Happy 3 months Kylee.
Her personality is really starting to show.  She loves to watch Taytum playing around her.  She has done really well at her babysitters and is generally a happy baby.  She still takes good morning and afternoon naps and cat naps in between.  She's finally good at following us with her eyes, it seemed like for awhile there she wouldn't look at ya no matter what you did but she does now.
 Family Photos
I figured it was about time we got some family pictures done and lucked out that the weather has been pretty mild thus far.  Uncle Todd met us at a park and got some good shots.  Taytum wasn't cooperating that well and she never would just give us her best smile but we still were able to get a couple of good shots.  It was hard to get Kylee to look at the camera but she was content.
